Marian Katherine Perry was born in Monroe, Michigan on March 25, 1924. She was the only child from the union of the late Edward Althaver and the late Mary Rerault. Marian was a graduate of Monroe High School.
Marian enjoyed spending her golden years in Arizona. She was the owner of the Silver Slipper Bar in Phoenix. Marian was a smart business woman with a great sense of humor.
Marian Katherine Perry, age 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in her home in Paradise Valley, Arizona. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: James Edward Perry Sr.
To cherish Marian's memory are her grandchildren: Tim (Dawn) Perry of Temperance and James (Evelyn) Perry Jr. of Arlington, VA; three great-grandchildren: Sydney, Alvin and Nicholas.
A graveside memorial service was held on Friday, May 9, 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted to Merkle Funeral Service 9156 Summit Street, Erie, Michigan (734)848-5185.
