Maria, So sorry for the loss of your brother. Though the pain of loss is acute right now, the pain will gradually lessen and you will be left with the good memories of your times together. Praying for you and your whole family.

Anna, Maria and Francis, So sorry to hear of the your loss. It's been quite some time since I have seen Joey but I do have fond memories of growing up with all of you. I remember him as being a lot of fun and having a brilliant mind. I send you my love and wish you all well.

Chris and I grew up with Joe just a few doors down the road. Chris was in his class and I with his sister Maria. I will always remember when visiting Maria. We all had globes of "the World" but, not Joe he had one of "The Moon" and the most sophisticated telescope money could buy at that time. Chris recalls Joey showing her Jupiter through that scope. Joey always had a vision beyond this world and it is clear he has much to do with our current technology that we enjoy today. We have much to be grateful for having Joe in this world one of our "Brightest Stars". So now when I see the stars in the sky, I will think of Joe and know the brightest one is his......

Joe was a person who always had a kind word for all and he made us laugh. Going to our 40th. reunion and seeing Joe with our class mates together was the best he was still the same guy we always knew. He will always be in our thoughts. Terry Lunn

Back in high school,Joe and I was in track and there was a big track meet in or near jackson mi, and we were not invited to participate in this track meet so we decided to hitchhike to the meet as spectators but it took us about six hours to get there. I could'nt figure why we we could not get a ride until I turned around one time (I was in front of JOE on the road) and I caught Joe dancing in the middle of the road. Someone finally pulled over and ask if we were ok ? and Joe started to dance again, The car sped off and I fell down and laughed till my stomach hurt.
We did make to the meet and was able to see the last couple of races. How did we get home? they let us ride the school bus back to Mason High. Joe was a smart man but he also was funny and he always made me laugh.
