Bob I really didn't know you all that well but I do know that Jeri loved you so very much. Just by her talking about you made it seem like I knew you that much more. I'll never forget that last day we were all together, went shopping, had lunch, what a beautiful day it was. Who ever thought that a month later God would call you home. He must have had plans for you, but I do want you to know that I think of you often. Rest in Peace.

I am so sorry to hear that Bobby has been ill. I was married to Bobby when he was in the Marine Corp and although we had our differences I'm sorry he lost the contact of his daughters Monica Lynn and Jennifer Grace. He also had grandchildren that would of also made him proud. May he be on the side of our Lord and savior, and Jeri, and family be remembered in our prAyers!

I met my Dad when I was ten, My mom had him over for the first time and she had been asking me the whole day to be good, I of course had other plans, I did my best to scare Dad away with no success for he was already inlove with my mother its a good thing he was because I would soon learn what a AMAZING Father he would be, Dad always seemed to know just what to say in times of trouble, I will never forget those wise words and promise to share them with his Grandson Liam, I Love you Dad!

I remember as a kid, he used to carry me on his shoulders to my bedroom and tuck me in, took me for rides in his semi(which I was thrilled about at that age),and liked showing me planes as they took off from the airport. He knew how to be a good father. I also learned some basic construction from him, like when we built a shed in the backyard. He's also responsible for getting me into history, discovery, and sci-fi channels, as well as shooting games on computer/game consoles. Almost every time I came home I saw him playing a 1st person shooter on the computer or watching his usual on tv. It's the little things I remember most about him and will miss. He may not have been related to me by blood line, but he was the best dad I could ask for and would never replace. RIP dad

Bobby and I spent just about every Sunday afternoon together for 12 years. I was six months older than him, but he taught me all the really important things a kid should know. How to stay in the lines when coloring. How to dig a hole to China. (we worked on it for weeks) How to shoot a BB gun. He was an excellent shot at 10. He taught me to yell Geronimo when we jumped down the basement stairs. (Neither one of us ever broke our neck) Bobby was more than my cousin, he was my favorite playmate. He has always had a special place in my heart and he always will. Deepest sympathy to his family. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Bob~ You were an exceptional man, who will be missed. As, my wife said, you would do anything for anyone, if they just asked. Our thoughts and continual prayers go to Jeri and the rest of the family in this difficult time. You are gone from this earth, but not gone from life. May your memory stay strong with everyone who knew you, and the memories your family has with you stay strong, until we meet you again some day.

You were a great man. Always taking care of your family, making sure that Jeri was treated right. You and Jeri were great friends that would do anything for anyone, without question. You had so many pets of your own, but you guys always took time to take care of anyone's pets, who needed it while they were away, including our German Shepherd for two weeks, while we were moving to Ohio. It has been a pleasure knowing you. You will be missed. May your family be wrapped in love and peace by our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, until the day we all meet again. May your transition from death to new life be smooth and peaceful, when your journey from this world, comes to rest in eternal life in Heaven. Everyone, whose life you have touched, is just a little better for having known you.

Numerous times over my three years at load one, I would walk into dispatch to see Bob sitting at his desk with a different sweater on, I once asked him if that's all he had and he just laughed. Last Thursday was the last time I spoke to Bob in person but he was smiling that big smile after I busted on Gator, RIP Bob will miss your 1730 call.....John (The Sheriff)

I am so sorry to hear Bob had been so sick. He now has the perfect body without pain celebrating in a great family feast with the King of Kings. How amazing it is going to be when we are all there celebrating. I am a cousin of Bob's but hadn't seen him since we were kids. We played together when we would come over to his grandma's house and he was there. His grandma was my daddy's oldest sister. My father was the baby of the Harlan bunch. Lots of precious memories...Praying for God's grace and peace to be with all of you.
