At age 71, I just realized today that I have no memory of a time without the Currey family in my life. Danny was my best friend from my first day of kindergarten and that just brought all other Currey's into the fold. Many of my youthful stories include one or more Currey and I find myself still telling stories of a lot of wonderful memories with a Currey in it; Mim, Grandma, mostly Danny, and Mr. and Mrs. (as I always called them.) It is warm and comforting to include you all as a part of my life. I know you will miss her dearly, and rightfully so. I send all of you my deepest sympathy and thanks for sharing her with me for so many years. Love to all, Michael

The Currey and Clark family, I am so sorry about your loss. Dorothy was very kind. She had a great sense of humor and the best laugh. I remember how much she loved her family and how well your family took care of her. I hope you find strength and comfort in the love of your family and friends. You are in my thoughts.

Dorothy was like a second mother to me. I spent so much time at their home during middle school, I might as well have had my own room. The Currey family is filled with love and traditions, and things like that only come from having a wonderful mother (and father) to guide them. I am sad about her passing, but know that she has been reunited with Mel and Aunt Charlotte, and they'll be having a great time watching over the brood they've left behind. Love and condolences to all of the Currey Family.

I was very sorry to hear about Dorothy but now she will be with Mel, Charlotte, Paul and my Mom and Dad, hopefully they are all up in the same place. Your Mom was always a joy to me, I never heard her say a bad thing about anyone. She will be greatly missed. I wish I would of visited her or kept in touch. God bless all the family. My three sisters all send their love also.
