Alec was my apprentice at DTE Monroe for about a year and a half. He was the BEST apprentice I have had in my career!! Not only was he a good worker, he was a good person! He wanted to "learn his trade" more than just earn a paycheck!!! He always had a smile on his face. This world is a better place for him being a part of it!!! RIP!!

Rob, Ann, and family
In the past few days, Elaine and I have done A lot of reflecting. Some thoughts that come to mind...very kind, very grateful, willing to help with anything. A kid that loved hos toys and seemed to be able to fix anything that broke on them or a vehicle.
In the short time we knew him, we were so impressed on how mature acting he was. Out of all of that (And a lot more) the one thing that I was so impressed by, and very grateful for was how he treated Tyler. Tyler being 4 or 5 at the time was really wanting to look at the 4 wheelers or dirt bikes that Alec had. Most typical 20 year old would not pay attention to a boy that young, but Alec would always take the time to talk with him. That meant so much to us.
One heck of a kid will be forever remembered in all of our hearts.
