Obituary of Jo Ann Spaulding
Jo Ann Eccleston was born on April 25, 1938, in Petersburg, Michigan. She grew up in a large family. She met the love of her life: Charles H. Spaulding and they married in February, 1962. Together, they were blessed with the birth of three children.
Born into a family that cherished simple pleasures, Jo Ann carried these values throughout her life. She was a stay-at-home mom, a role she cherished above all, finding joy and fulfillment in the laughter and warmth of her family.
Family gatherings at Jo Ann's home were frequent and filled with love. Whether it was a simple event or a holiday celebration, her family was her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her home was the heart of the family, a place where traditions were cherished and new memories created.
Outside, her flowers were a reflection of her spirit. She had a lovely display of purple irises and a vibrant variety of red, pink, and white and roses. The flowers were also a haven for Jo Ann's favorite birds, cardinals, in particular.
Jo Ann's creativity found expression in her sewing and embroidery. Her home was adorned with her handiwork: intricately embroidered tablecloths, and lovingly sewn blankets for her children.
