She was my husband's Richard W. Heiss' cousin I believe. Harpst, Holtz, Drinkhahn Huebner all w/connections around the village of Maybee. She and Dick shared an interest in family history as his father di.ed the day he was born so he lived early yrs on Harpst farm and attended Maybe schools. The "early days had more family gatherings and a closeness that was hard to continue after leaving the village except for meeting at funerals etc so the cemetery provided much history. Later yrs--not very much w/busy lives & families -Nancy Heiss
