Distance was no barrier to this friendship, John we had a blast, Daytona Bike Week in the 90's to The Manx Grand Prix just before covid, and many rides in-between.On johns first visit to the Isle of Man I won't say alcohol was involved but two up on a GPZ900R at speeds exceeding 100mph on the Mountain Mile without helmets was memorable, especially when his only pair of glasses blew off and he's hammering on my back. I thought he meant go faster! Anyway we stopped and walked back searching until we heard the howl of 911 doing a early morning lap coming up the road. He saw us , squealed to a holt and smiling said " Your glasses are half a mile back in the middle of the road, I missed them!".
After recovery we hiked back up to the bike and continued on after signing our names with full bladders in the middle of the race track. Not so crazy these years later we still laugh at our continued survival. As long as we have the memories you're still with us John.

I knew John from the All American Indian Motorcycle Club and connected with him most recently at Dux on Father's Day weekend for the annual AAIMC social. John was a great guy and a fellow motorcycle man. My condolences to the family. 2 wheels down until we meet again.

Very very sad to hear of John's passing, an absolute diamond of a man who i will really miss.
John, Fry and Christina came over to England U.K. and visited me and stayed with me for a few days and that was very cool, i am coming back over to the USA and it was my intention to call down and see John and family which sadly, will now not be.
Ride free up there in the heavens John and until we meet again. Your old mate. Billy.

I really enjoyed our friendship over the years. You were a great guy, always happy and had a good story to tell. Thanks for helping me get into the electrical business by letting me wire your garage so many years ago. Also, thank you for finding the Royal Enfield G-350 for me. I'm glad we got to share whiskey and memories before you passed. Love you friend.
