Obituary of John Allen Gragg
John Allen Gragg was born on March 24, 1949, in Monroe, Michigan. He was one of eight children born to the union of Charles Gragg and Bertha (Mayes) Gragg. John attended Dundee High School, graduating with the Class of 1967.
John was blessed with four beautiful daughters: Debbie, Sarah, Vickie, and Lisa. To provide for his family John was employed for many years as a pipefitter for J and R Underground before taking a medical retirement. He had a strong faith in the Lord and was a supporter of the Jewish Voice Ministries and the John Hagee Ministries.
John loved farming, especially when it was time to plant corn. He loved being outdoors whether he was having a party around the campfire, hunting for a trophy buck, reeling in the next big catch, or simply riding his four wheelers and gator around the property. He loved playing with his dogs: Bow and Arrow in the yard. When John wasn’t spending time outdoors, he could be found teaching himself how to play guitar or catching one of his favorite John Wayne movies on television. He loved trucks and was a Ford man always having a new F-150. John’s greatest accomplishment in life was the love he showed his daughters and grandchildren and spending time with them was his most favorite pastime.
