Obituary of Betty Epperson
Betty McKeehan was born on July 22,1930 in Dalton, Georgia. She was the daughter of Charlie McKeehan and Liddie (Duckworth) McKeehan. She spent the first few years of her life in Georgia but as a young girl, her family moved to Southeast Michigan where she attended River Rouge High School.
Betty married Walker Blanton and was blessed with two daughters: Linda and Loraine. Betty was a homemaker and cared for the needs of her family. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in divorce. Shortly thereafter Betty met Hubert Ray Epperson, and they were joined in holy matrimony.
Betty was a faithful member of Bethany Assembly Church in Adrian, Michigan. She had a strong Christian faith and a deep love for her Lord. Betty loved attending worship, singing, and sharing the Gospel with others. She even hosted a radio show in her home where they spread the good news of Christ, often allowing the grandchildren to participate (if they behaved!). Musically speaking, Betty was extremely talented, being able to play the piano, organ, guitar, mandolin, and the banjo.
