Vivian's benevolent spirit and her ever-present smile will be profoundly missed. What a kind and friendly person Vivian was. I met her and her husband Bob at the Bedford Farmer’s Market. It was always a treat when she came to the market. Viv was the first friend I made at Cantrick Junior High. We were 7th grade locker partners. We would meet up at the locker between classes sometimes. We developed a lifelong friendship. I'm so glad we saw Vivian at the last reunion. Steven and I share in your sorrow. Heaven surely gained an angel.

Vivian was always one of my favorite people. With her beautiful heart and unwavering smile, she lit up a room. All our lives she noted our special bond by always referring to me, never as just another cousin, but as her little Flower Girl. It is a badge of honor I wear knowing that I was special to this wonderful woman.
When I was hospitalized at 13 for appendicitis, she visited me and brought me a gift. It was an album of a popular artist. She told me she had polled all the young girls she knew to learn just the right one to bring me. Of course she did. That did not surprise me at all.
Vivian will always hold a special place in my heart.

Vivian was not just my mother, my Dads wife, my Aunts sister or my kids grandmother, she was a beacon of light and positivity. Her strength is admirable and she always loved spending time surrounded by her family, her grandkids, nieces and nephews. Even while she wasn’t feeling her strongest her face lit up when people visited and those moments I will always cherish. Even after being diagnosed with cancer she helped others by participating in a clinical trial to not just help herself but others that also had her same diagnosis. She is my hero and will always be the light that guides me. I love you Mom, thank you for being the living example I aspire to be. I will miss you tremendously and the sound of your voice on my calls for advice. Keep sending us signs from heaven. I know God exists because of you!

Vivian and I were friends from the age of five, 67 years. I could not have had a more thoughtful, loving friend. When we were kids, she was the mother bee always taking care of the rest of us by fixing our hair or helping us do our chores.
