Karen was the best person, always helping youth. Our 4-H club needed animals for a petting zoo, Karen shows up with her Camel and her Great Dane. Of course she was the hit of the zoo! We have lost a wonderful and caring person, I am honored to have known her. She's riding all her horse's and smiling her dazzling smile.

So sad to hear of Karen’s passing. I had the pleasure and privilege of her knowledge on training dogs. I had a couple of our dogs trained at Karen’s K-9 at her house. She made me the best trainer to our dogs and they became the best dogs to our family. I always would give her praises she was the best. Rest in peace Karen

Dear Karen was one of a kind. Her sense of humor was contagious and always flowing. While working with her at the paper companies she always told the best stories and never spared any outrageous details. She was a wonderful friend and will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace, Dear Heart.

Our family lost a beautiful soul this week. My sis-in-law, Karen, had the best sense of humor, loved all animals, and made me laugh whenever we were together. She will be in our hearts forever.

I met Karen way back in 1972 when I began working at Union Camp. We had a lot of fun at work and outside of work. I have many great memories of Karen including the time when her horse Sprite tried to buck me off and she was laughing so hard she couldn’t tell me or him what to do. Fly high dear friend. ❤️

Our community has lost an amazing woman, her love of animals and caring nature, always willing to help others, she will be missed. I remember hospital visits with our 4-H kids at the Holidays and Karen would bring her big boy "Ounce," all decorated and bring books to read to the children, the ecstatic look on the children's faces when they saw her coming. She would host dog training at her beautiful facility so our 4-H kids could continue working their pets. Her love of horses, I was lucky enough to find two of my very best horses through Karen, Bud and Cricket. She was a wonderful mentor for me, her community service, sharing her love of animals, gone far too soon. Rest in Peace.

One of my favorite memories of Karen and I was when we went trail riding (can't remember where) and we came across an obstacle course. We didn't see anybody around so we thought, "what the heck, looks like fun!" Just as we got through it, a voice came over a loud speaker and said ," would all none competitors please leave the obstacle course!" We laughed and laughed! What fun! That was Karen, always up for something silly and fun. She was the best!
