Obituary of Frank James Soleau
Frank James Soleau was born on August 5, 1966 in Grand Haven, Michigan. He was one of two sons born to the union of Victor and Linda (Rorke) Soleau Sr. Frank attended Monroe High School.
Although Frank did not complete high school, he was blessed with common sense and a strong work ethic. He had the vision to set up his own company, Trust Us Landscaping Company. In this capacity he provided for the needs of his family for many years.
On December 26, 1991, in Monroe, Michigan Frank married the love of his life; the former Kerry Pope and together they were blessed with two handsome boys: Cory and Zachary. On their fifteenth wedding anniversary, the happy couple excitedly renewed their vows at the First Presbyterian Church in LaSalle, Michigan.
As much as Frank loved the company of his friends and liked to be wild and rowdy, he was very family oriented, a great husband, father, and grandfather enjoying the time he spent with loved ones first and foremost. Frank had many varied interests, most of which involved time outdoors. From riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, visiting the zoo to watch the apes, attending the tractor show at Nike Park in Newport, Michigan, or casting a line at Waterloo Park with his boys hoping for a big catch. His favorite pastime, however, was watching Cory and Zachary participate in football, baseball, and bowling. He also enjoyed playing foosball, horseshoes, and pinball even winning a pinball championship one year.
