Obituary of Mark Lynn Blessing
Mark Lynn Blessing was born on October 26, 1973, in Southfield, Michigan. He was one of two sons born to the union of Lee Blessing and Geraldine (Mushinsky) Blessing. He attended Canton High School in Canton, Michigan.
On August 18, 2010, in Westland, Michigan, Mark married the love of his life the former Ashley Coblentz. The couple made their home with several feline companions. Although Mark loved all his cats, he was most fond of Cass and Nami whom had grown to be his favorites. Mark was a true handyman with a very generous heart. He enjoyed working with his hands and seemed to have the ability to fix or build anything, from remodeling houses to freshening them up with paint. When family and friends needed home repairs, Mark was more than happy to step up and lend a helping hand. For the past year and a half, he was gainfully employed as a Crew Trainer for McDonalds in Monroe, Michigan.
Mark was also an avid gardener. He was quite proud of his prized rose bushes, and he enjoyed spending time in his yard tending to them or growing his vegetables. Mark knew his way around the kitchen as well. He loved to cook for all the holidays and family gatherings, but Thanksgiving dinner was by far his specialty.
