I have so many great memories of Ruth that I will always cherish. She always made the effort to come visit my mother and family and for that I am grateful.

Ruth it was an honor to know and love you as my MOM. You excepted me into your family as well as my children. Along the way my boys gave you 6 great grandchildren Adam, Jeffery Jr, Kayleigh, Noah, Sofia, and Lucas. Every time you came over the grand daughters loved having tea parties with you and even when they got on your nerves you kept playing with them. I will miss our family dinners, cards games, and our heart felt talks about life. I will miss you but you are in my heart all ways. Love you MOM.....

In March 1977 I was married at peace Lutheran church in Livonia,Michigan. My parents Ruth and Glen kurtsell gave a wedding I will never forget. I got married to mark Ault, he was a us marine. They made many trips to North Carolina to see my little family, grandma Smith and my aunt Elaine and uncle Frank and children. Mom loved her trip to North Carolina to see her sister and family. In 1983 mark got his next duty station of Pearl Harbor Hawaii. They came several times, we enjoyed showing them the islands. January 1987 I moved to Washington state, myself and my children made trips to see them in Michigan and Florida. After Dads death in 2001, I tryed to spend as many of her birthdays, Christmas and thanksgiving with her in Monroe,Michigan and Tarpon Springs, Florida. My Son Wayne Ault also preceded her in death. My heart tells me she with all her loved ones and her many friends from her life. Always in my heart, Sherry

Forever in my heart, MOM rest easy you deserve this, you we're the strongest woman I ever knew.. My soul hurts knowing I won't ever see you or touch you or even call you again here on earth. Grandma Ruth was a very special loving person. I’ve known her since I was 14 years old (20 years), she was my grandma regardless of blood. She always accepted me when she didn’t have to, as well as my children. She would always play tea party with my daughters and it melted my heart every time. Kayleigh and Sofia loved it. We all love you and will miss you dearly. Rest in peace forever. Love you bunches. Kris, Jess, Adam, Kayleigh, Sofia , and Lucas. Please watch over our family up there in heaven. Love you

I coached my boys little league baseball team and she always tried to make the games no matter how hot the t was she was there, she was a very sweet, kind lady she always made me feel welcome and treated me like her grand child she will be missed
