Jacqueline Clagg

Obituary of Jacqueline Lee Clagg

Jacqueline Lee Arquette was born at Beyer Memorial Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan on May 2, 1949.   She was one of two children born from the union of the late Russell LaVerne Arquette and the late Phyllis Dolores (DeFer) Arquette.   Jacqueline grew up in Romulus where she would graduate from Romulus High School with the Class of 1967.

Jackie as she was lovingly called would be blessed with the birth of two children with her marriage to Mr. Bitner.

In 1999, she married Steven Robert Clagg and the couple would make their home in Dundee, Michigan.   Jackie would be a homemaker and humbly cared for the needs of her husband and home.   Jackie enjoyed spending time in her yard tending to her garden and maintaining her beautiful hostas.

Jackie had a passion for all animals and was extremely fond of the mission of the Monroe County Humane Society.   She and Steven once donated a pallet of food to the shelter by wheeling a pallet from Pet Supplies Plus across the parking lot, dodging Telegraph Road traffic and then to the doors of the animal refuge.
