Obituary of Sarah Brandes

Sarah Elizabeth Brandes, age 31 of Newport, Michigan, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at home with her family by her side. She bravely battled against Melanoma Cancer for three years. Sarah Elizabeth Brandes was born in Trenton, Michigan on March 14, 1982. She was one of three children born to Michael Francis and Theresa (Pritchett) Brandes. Sarah was always full of energy, and she would bring a smile to everyone she met. Sarah was a loving mother and beloved by everyone. Sarah was a 2000 graduate of Jefferson High School and had been employed by Johnson Controls of Monroe. To cherish her memory, she is survived by her mother; Theresa Pritchett, her son; Tavian Harmon (13), her daughter; Quiana Harmon (10), and her brother; Michael Ryan Brandes. Sarah was preceded in death by an infant sister, Alaina. Friends may gather from 2:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe (734) 384-5185.
