Obituary of Patricia Ann Heath

Patricia Ann Whitehead was born on July 13, 1967 in Detroit, Michigan. She was one of two children born from the union of Glenn and Mary (Roberts) Whitehead.

For twenty-seven years she was employed by DHL as supply chain analyst.

To relax her mind and in her free time, Patti, would escape the world’s chaos by crafting beautiful diamond paintings.   Her craft called for an immense amount of patience and a keen eye for detail in order to apply the tiny diamond like pieces onto an adhesive canvas to create shimmering art.   Patti would also enjoy a spirited game of Yahtzee and Uno with her family or playing classic video games on her Nintendo and Atari consoles.

More than anything, Patti, cherished the time she spent with her family.   She especially treasured the hanging with Chloe, who affectionately called her “Uma”.   Chloe and “Uma” would often share lip gloss because as Chloe said, “Uma always had the lip stuff”.   The duo could often lovingly be seen pinching each other’s bottoms and giving wedgies.

She married Sonny James Heath on June 18, 2016.   The couple had a special relationship.   Patti and Sonny enjoyed the thrill of the big screen often visiting the drive-in movie theatre.   Patti also had a lifelong desire to see the ocean.   So, for her fiftieth birthday, the dynamic dup took a road trip to accomplish Patti’s wish.   Patti never did return to the water after her inaugural trip, but she often said to see the ocean, “once was enough.”

Patricia Ann Heath, age 53, of Newport, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday; April 13, 2021.  Her passing was preceded by her brother: Bill Whitehead.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her beloved husband: Sonny Heath; her parents: Glenn and Mary Whitehead; one daughter: Melissa (“our Cody” Paul) St. Louis; one granddaughter: Chloe St. Louis; and two feline companions:  Lottie and Dottie.
