Obituary of JoAnn Malek
Please share a memory of JoAnn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
JoAnn Coiene Paruch was born on March 23, 1950 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was the only child born from the union of the late Leon Paruch and the late Coiene (Wilkens) Paruch.
JoAnn married the love of her life, Stanley Malek on September 2, 1972. From this union would come the birth of two beautiful daughters. JoAnn supported her family as a homemaker. She was a wonderful and gifted woman centering her life around service to her husband and children. Later in life JoAnn would experience the joy of grandchildren, and she cherished the time she spent with them. She could be counted on as a confidant, very loyal and honest. JoAnn was a role model to her family and to many others that knew her. She enjoyed canning, reading, and was talented with crafting. In her free time she enjoyed visiting the casinos.
JoAnn Coiene Malek age 63 of Newport passed away at home peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She had been under the care of Mercy Memorial Hospice.
