Linda J. Johnson was born on May 20, 1947 in Monroe, Michigan. She was one of seven children born from the union of John L. and Helen L. (Tyra) Johnson Sr. Linda met and quickly fell in love with Radis G. “Butch” Russeau. The couple tied the knot on December 26, 1961 in Monroe, Michigan. This marriage would be blessed with four children. Linda enjoyed sewing and she especially cherished the times she spent making quilts with her sister: Grace; sister-in-law: Barb and niece: Dawn. In addition to her passing, she is preceded by both her parents, one sister: Brenda Smith and two brothers: Gerald Johnson and Mike Johnson. To cherish her memory, she leaves her best friend and husband of fifty-nine years: Radis G. “Butch” Russeau, Sr.; Children: Radis (Tina) Russeau, Jr., Kathy (Avery) Howard, Jon Paul (Annette Navarre) Russeau and Helen (Rick) Clark; sibling: John L. Johnson Jr., Grace Richter, and Ruth Evans; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Linda also leaves her trusty sidekick: Sassy, who is lost, as her entire family is without her.
