Obituary of Kevin Carder

Kevin James Carder May 3, 1961 - January 26, 2014 Kevin James "Jimmy" Carder was born in Monroe, Michigan on May 3, 1961. He was the son of the late James E. Carder and Sharon (Crissman) Rauch. Kevin attended Monroe Schools. Jimmy was a very loving and caring individual. He had a special place in his heart for his nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Although, Kevin was an extremely private person he was always taking the opportunity to brag about them and looking for every opportunity to spend time with them. Jimmy worked in the Labor's Local for many years doing construction. He was a jack of all trades but a master of none. Jimmy had the innate ability to build or fix anything. He was especially skilled in carpentry. Jimmy also really enjoyed his plants and hummingbirds. Kevin James Carder, age 52 of Monroe, Michigan passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at home. In addition to his father in 1977, his passing was preceded by a stepfather: Robert L. Rauch in 2010; and sister: Mitzi Jackson in 2013. To cherish his memory, Jimmy leaves his mother: Sharon Rauch of Monroe; two sisters: April (Ed) Killian of LaSalle and Julie (Dale) Wyatt of Missouri; two brothers: Christopher (Trina) Carder of Deerfield and Gregory Carder of Monroe; two stepbrothers: Randall (Deb) Rauch of New York, Jeff (Jane) Rauch of Dundee; one stepsister: Mary (Rudy) Ortiz of Texas; and many nieces, a nephew, great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services, Livonia, Michigan. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
