June 11, 1961 - January 11, 2014
Paula Marie Coy was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on June 11, 1961. She was one of three children born to the union of the late Richard Towler and the late Mary Catherine (Weaks) Towler. Paula attended Ypsilanti Schools.
On March 10, 2007, Paula married her true love, Michael Coy at the Horsebranch Baptist Church in Horsebranch, Kentucky. Paula was a homemaker. She had a caring spirit that people were naturally drawn to, and because of her strong will and outspokenness, Paula was the rock that held her family together. Paula took every opportunity to socialize with family and friends. She was a great cook and hosted many events that allowed her to spend time with those who meant the most to her, especially her grandchildren.
Paula cherished her travels to Kentucky to visit with her family and appreciated the outdoors basking in the sun at the lake and on her pontoon boat.
Paula Marie Coy, age 52 of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 11, 2014 in the emergency room of Mercy Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, her passing was preceded by a niece, Marissa Towler.
