Kathy was one of "THE GREATEST" friends of mine and one of the most honest, spunky, funny, hard working, talented, and lovable friend that I've ever known! A TRUE-BLUE FRIEND, that was there for me, when I needed someone or I needed a loan or whatever I needed, she was there, and without question, nor judgement! I tried to be there for her, and was for the most part, except in recent months, as I will have to eat that guilt, as we are not promised tomorrow! So, PLEASE tell your loved ones, just how much you love them and take the time to go visit, even if you must get out of your comfort zone, to do it! (UNLIKE ME,AND FEEL THAT GUILT,AS IT'S NOT A GOOD FEELING!)But, I'm sure she knew; that I loved her and I WILL SOOO MISS HER INFECTIOUS LAUGH & HER 'SHORT' STORIES, AND ALL OF THE THINGS THAT MADE HER SPECIAL TO ME! I called her 'Katrinilla' and she called me 'Sandrilla',and we both called Tom (her fianceĢ)"PUZZLED" (Lol)and the reason is because, when us ladies got together, it was MAN vs. WOMAN, and we know who would TRIUMPH,DON'T WE; WOMEN? I shall also, carry on with, good ol' ELMER! Ha,Ha,Ha (To all whom knew of Elmer) Kathy, my dear true-blue friend; until we meet again, I bid you PEACE! I WILL MISS YOU TREMENDOUSLY! GOD BLESS YOU NILLA! P.S. It's X-MAS, whose going to make me BUCKEYES? I'll miss those too! :) Sandrilla

I remember one time when Aunt Katherine gave me a rock the shape of Michigan, and some sea shells it made me feel special. She also gave me a ride on her horse Blaze and that was very special to me, because I knew that she really loved Blaze & the fact she took out time for me let me know that she cared & loved me to. She shared her most treasured horse, Blaze. I remember talking to Aunt Katherine when she was going to be a Grandma for the first time how excited she was. She would talk about both of the grandkids, Alexandria & Coleton, and how much she loved them, and how important they were to her, and how smart they were. She loved her family & was so proud of Roger, Tiffany, Alexandria & Coleton. She was sharing stories with me at Stacey's baby shower, about how her pet bird, Lolo likes to talk & repeat everything that she says, and how special he was to her. I will miss Aunt Katherine, but will cherish my memories with her.

Katherine enjoyed cooking. She would like to come over and have a meal, then ask if it was HOT!! She loved when I shared fresh herbs with her, so she could flavor her meals. She enjoyed experimenting new recipes. Also you never got that free ride on Dave's motorcycle. May you rest in peace.
Love your sister, Ruth.

I used to love when Kathy would come and visit us. She was such an upbeat person and always had a big smile and a contagious laugh. She had a way of making people feel special by the way she treated them. She's in my thoughts and prayers.

Kathy always had a big smile on her face. She taught me how to ride horses. I remember one time when my horse took off on me while I was riding him. Kathy was on her horse. Next thing I know, Kathy came riding up on the side of me and stopped my horse. She saved me from getting hurt. She just was a very good, up beat friend. Even though she had her own chores to do, she would stop by and help me with mine so we could go riding. She was so generous and would give you the shirt off her back. She used to come by and give me fresh vegetables from her garden. I know Kathy will be missed by a lot of people because she had such a big heart. My condolences to her family for their loss.

As being a baby she was not only my little sister, but my GOD CHILD (Barbara). She was a sweet little baby. Growing up Katherine loved the horses, and could be found in the barn most of the time. Her favorite pony was Queen, and quarter horse Blaze. When very small Dad would put her on the team of ponies that pulled the Dixie Wagon, that we rode Every Sunday after Church. She will be remembered as Katherine the Great, as the way she would sign her cards. We will miss Katherine, the Sixth Sister of us seven girls, and the 12 child of 13 of us.
