Jason Edward Friar was born in Monroe, Michigan on June 5, 1974. He was the son of Mary (Carr) Lymond and the late James E. Friar Sr. Jason earned his GED through Monroe High School. Jason, age 39 of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at home. In addition to his father, he was preceded by his maternal grandparents: Robert and Pauline Carr; and paternal grandmother: Fay Friar. To cherish his memory he leaves behind his loving mother: Mary Lymond; a step-father: Lyn Lymond; a daughter: Nadia McManara; three sons: Jayden Friar, Jorden Friar, and Vaden Friar; brother: James Friar Jr.; and grandfather: James M. Friar Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services. Friends may gather from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street Monroe, Michigan (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of his Life will follow at 2pm with Rev. David Besedich of House of Restoration Church to officiate, also at Merkle's. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to his children.
