Obituary of Robert Moore
Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert Edward Moore was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 18, 1932. He was the son of the late Albert Moore and the late Daisy (Randell) Moore. He married the former Elizabeth "Jean" Parker on April 15, 1963.
Bob operated a Hi-lo for several years and was a member of the Teamsters. From 1967 until 1994, Bob was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Local 900. He served Ford Motor Company working on the assembly line at the Michigan Truck Plant in Wayne, Michigan.
Bob was an avid sports fan. He was a hometown fan rooting on the likes of the Red Wings, Tigers, and Lions, but the Wings were by far his favorite. Bob enjoyed watching his favorite teams from the comfort of his living room over fighting the crowds at the games. He frequently watched Hockey Night in Canada although he didn't care for Don Cherry.
In the past, Bob had been a member of the Masonic Lodge, and had spent summers coaching his son Michael's little league team. Later in life, Bob was a frequent fixture at his grandchildren's athletic events.
