February 27, 1956 - September 25, 2013 Melvin "Boud" Joseph Boudrie was born in Monroe, Michigan on February 27, 1956. He was one of seven children born from the union of the late Melvin H. Boudrie and Nancy Pickard. Boud was a well renowned local mechanic, supporting himself as an employee of Jack's Lawn Service. He was a hard worker who had a special passion for wrenching on cars and dabbled in carpentry, home repair, and remodeling. The old adage "jack of all trades, master of none" was words that he lived by. Boud was also an outdoorsman; enjoying hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. He was also a family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and appreciated bonfires, cookouts, and other family pastimes. Boud would lend a helping hand to friends and family alike. He could be stubborn at times and he was not afraid to speak his mind. Boud had a keen sense of humor, loved to crack jokes and had the ability to make a bad situation better. He was especially good at aggravating or pestering those around him. Boud had a special relationship with "Buck", his Golden Labrador and recently rekindled his romance with his high school sweetheart. Melvin "Boud" Joseph Boudrie, age 57 of Erie, passed away unexpectedly at 1:44pm, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Mercy Memorial Hospital.
