Obituary of Rose Bullock
Please share a memory of Rose to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Rose Ann Badalamenti was born on October 3, 1934 in Monroe. She was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Mary (Solomon) Badalamenti. She attended Monroe Schools and later received training as a hairdresser. Rosie married Ben Bullock in December of 1967. She worked with her cousin and from her home salon for more than thirty years retiring in 1996.
Rosie was kind, generous, and outgoing. She had a great sense of humor, and liked to play practical jokes from time to time. Rose was a social butterfly, she enjoyed going out to eat and made numerous friends with the staff of establishments, but her favorite place to visit was Denny's. She spent much time conversing with loved ones at her own kitchen table sharing a good cup of coffee.
Rosie constantly looked after others; often comforting with the words, "If you need me call". She was well organized and loved to plan out details. Rose liked traveling and had enjoyed Northern Michigan, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, and Tennessee among others stops. She cherished the serenity of her yard, gardening, and bird watching. In her quiet time, Rosie enjoyed crafts including silk floral arranging, sewing, and beading jewelry.
