Obituary of Thomas Wnorowski
Please share a memory of Thomas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Thomas William Wnorowski was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 1, 1961. He was the youngest son born from the union of Chester Joseph Wnorowski and the late Patricia Louise (Gable) Wnorowski. Tom graduated from Whitmer High School in 1980, and earned his Associate Degree in Accounting from Owens Community College.
He married his true love Shannon Fish on April 21, 1990 at the First Baptist Church.
For many years Tom worked as a controller for Right Tool and Die. Tom loved the outdoors and all that nature held. Being an avid skier, Tom was especially fond of the Michigan winters and had visited many other places in North America to enjoy the slopes. He loved visiting his second home in Petoskey, appreciating the peacefulness of the lake.
In many ways, Tom was a skilled craftsman. He was amazing with his hands and extremely meticulous. He enjoyed do-it-yourself projects. Tom wasn't afraid to do the necessary research and always believed in measuring twice to cut once. His love for vintage cars also led him to automotive restoration a pastime that he shared with his beloved, Shannon.
Tom was generous and caring. A gentle giant he believed in helping others and opening the door for a lady. He enjoyed bike riding, and spending time with his best friend: Benny a Golden Retriever.
