I have so much to say. But really what I want to say is "I Miss you already and I will love you forever". Its hard to explain the feeling of grief to lose your mother. Many people see you in me (feisty and independent) but your granddaughter is exactly the same way. How do I continue to be a good mother? Who do I call? Little did you know that I was such a great mother because of your guidance to me, love for my children, your grandchildren. God gave us an extra month to be with you. You went peacefully and on your terms. As much my heart hurts, I know it will heal with time and one day we will be together again. Until then, know that "I miss you already and I will love you forever". Amy

I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with Mitzi from elementary and Jr. High. Mitzi will always have a very special place in my heart, as she always seemed to be there for me when I was alone in a world of hatred. Mitzi was a guardian angel to me. I will never ever forget her kindness, compassion and friendship. I hope through this difficult time in your lives, that you too, will not forget the amazingly wonderful heart she had, full of love, understanding, kindness and compassion. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My beautiful cousin, one who would never say anything bad about anyone. Deep in her own thoughts, yet voice-ful for those she's most closest to. Always loves everyone she meets and always quick with a joke or a simple smile. We will miss our loving cousin. She was the most loving mother, sister and friend. Mitzi, you will always be in our hearts. You are what I call "sunshine" because nothing ever gets you down. You have left that warmth with your beautiful family and they will share your traits with others. You will continue to live each day like "Sunshine". We will always love you...You will never be forgotten.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4 My condolences on your loss. I went to school with Mitzi, pretty much from grade school through high school. She was a really nice person, she will be missed. I would be there to attend the service but live in the Seattle area and work would not allow for the time off. At the bottom are links to 3 songs that gave me a lot of peace when my father died in 2002. I pray Jesus gives you peace in this time of grief and loss. I could never write all the great memories I have of Mitzi whom I also called mom. She was a great person! I remember growing up and spending so much time at her house. I was there so often that she would even ground me. Mitzi made sure I had the things I needed and the guidance to become the person I am. I don't think I will ever forget the time that Tiffany and I were so excited to call into the radio station and tell a joke on the air then when mom got home she said I heard the dumbest joke on the radio. Tiffany and I burst into laughter and then mom knew it was us and laughed even more at us for it. She will be missed by so many. I am very thankful for everything she has taught me and her children. She raised three amazing daughters who I am proud to still call my friends. She also was an amazing grandmother to her grandchildren. She showed how much she cared to everyone. She helped show me what kind of mother I want to be for my son.
