Obituary of Danny Lindsay

Danny R. Lindsay (December 3, 1951 - July 5, 2013) Danny R. Lindsay, 61, of Mancelona, passed away July 5, 2013 at Munson Medical Center. Danny was born on December 3, 1951 in Monroe, MI., the son of James Bart and Ursula Lindsay. Danny was a member of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church for many years. He was very involved with the Masonic Lodge. He was a past Master of the Monroe Lodge #27 F&AM in 1991, past District Deputy Instructor of District 6 and was proudly awarded as Mason of the year in 1994. Most of all, his pride and joy was his family. On January 9, 1981, in Toledo, he married Kay (Stotz-Morris) Lindsay who survives. Also surviving closest family are Donald (Sandy) Morris of Luna Pier, Michael (Julie) Morris of Monroe and Allen (Shyla) Morris of Mancelona and Michael R. (Linda) Lindsay of Lambertville; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight nieces and two nephews. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Arnold and James Lindsay. Danny's family will remember him privately.
