Obituary of Elizabeth Jane Dentner

Elizabeth June Russell Dentner, age 74, passed away at her Petersburg, Michigan home under the care of her husband and hospice on Monday, August 22, 2016. She was born in Lenoir, North Carolina April 29, 1942 the daughter of Charles Richard Russell Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Link. Elizabeth valued education. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in Michigan in 1960; received a BA in Home economics from Hillsdale College in 1964; received her MA from Eastern Michigan University in Guidance and Counseling in 1968. She was a home economics teacher at Mason Consolidated Schools in Erie and was a counselor in Student Personnel Services at Monroe County Community College in Monroe. She married Noel H. Dentner who survives her. She is also survived by a sister Martha Link Russell of Adrian, Michigan and a brother Charles Richard Russell III of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Memorials in her name may be made to the Monroe County Community College Foundation Noel H. and Elizabeth R.
