Dorothy A. Miller, age 94 of Monroe, formerly of Ida and Dundee, passed away Friday morning, November 21, 2014 at Medilodge of Monroe where she had made her home the last 7 years. She was born in Ida July 10, 1920 the daughter of Frank and Mina (Snyder) Korn. She married Arnold W. Miller April 6, 1940 at the Dundee United Methodist Church parsonage. He preceded her in death January 1, 2002. They were married for 61 years when he passed. She always enjoyed having two gardens. One for vegetables and one for flowers. She also was a member of the Frenchtown Township and Monroe Senior Citizens when her health allowed. She is a long standing member of the Dundee United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter JoAnn Wilfong of Monroe; granddaughter Jill (James) Bradley of Monroe; two great-grandchildren Jordan and Jenna Bradley; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arnold, granddaughter Nancy Schafer, brother Donald Korn and sisters Gilda Wagner and Erma Wertenberger. Friends may call on Sunday from 1 – 8 PM at Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156 888-383-4176). She will lie in state on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 10 AM until services at 11 AM at Dundee United Methodist Church, 645 Franklin Street. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Olsen, church pastor.
