Damon Alexander Holbrook, age 3, of Dundee, passed away at the emergency room at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor on Sunday afternoon, August 18, 2013. He was born at University Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan February 16, 2010 the son of Brian and Jessica (Mangus) Holbrook. Damon was a little boy who loved having fun, experiencing new things, interacting with other kids, his siblings, parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. He was full of energy and life and was all boy. He is survived by his parents Brian and Jessica; sister Alexia at home; brother Aiden at home; paternal grandparents Roger and Rhonda Holbrook of Eagan, MN and Brenda Holbrook of Dundee; maternal grandparents Daniel and Betsy Mangus of Dundee and Janet (Bryan) Gibbs of Simpsonville, SC; paternal great-grandmother Betty Lou Ott of Petersburg; Aunt Melissa Holbrook of Ypsilanti and Uncle Martin Smith of Dundee and maternal great grandfather Lionel (Doris) Kroeger of Florida He was preceded in death by his brother Carter and great grandparents Wilton and Shirley Mangus, John Ott, Margaret Kroeger, Vernon and Beulah Holbrook. Friends may call on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 2 – 8 P.M. at the Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee (734-529-3156). Funeral services will take place at the funeral home on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Officiating will be the Rev. Mark Floury, pastor of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Petersburg. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Dundee. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Damon A. Holbrook Memorial Fund at United Bank and Trust, Dundee Office, 260 Tecumseh Street, Dundee, MI 48131
