May the hope of Psalms 34:18 bring the family of Mrs. Ellen N. Kay much comfort during this time, God’s word assures us that he sees the difficulties and hard times that we go through. He will help you and your family in this time of sorrow. We can also look forward to a time when death will be no more (Revelation 21: 3, 4). Taking in accurate knowledge of the living God Jehovah assures us better times ahead.

Ellen was an original! I met Ellen when we were both CASA volunteers and later worked with her as her CASA supervisor. She was a fierce advocate and a good friend. Our group of four musketeers traveled together and shared so much fun. My last visit with Ellen was when the four of us celebrated her 80th birthday at Lone Star. Ellen was never far from my heart and will be missed. I'm sorry to miss paying my respects in perso since I had surgery today but send my love.

I have so many memories of coming to see you in Dundee, swimming with Uncle David, playing with your dog. You will be missed, but I know you are in a much better place with Uncle David and Grandma and Grandpa. Love Sue

Mrs. Kay was my 1st grade teacher and what I admired most about her is her kindness and patience. Many years have passed since then, but her influence remains with me today. Thank you Mrs. Kay!
Condolences to her family.

Steve and Mike, please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful lady and a good friend to my mother. She will be remembered as a gifted teacher in so many ways and her joy for music lives on in the lives of all those she taught. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I had the pleasure to know Mrs. Kay through the Dundee Branch Library and to work in the building she was instrumental in having built. She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege to have Mrs. Kay as my first grade teacher. I so admire how calm she was at all times. I never remember her raising her voice to the class. She always seemed to have enough time and patience for all of the children. She was a very motherly woman, and I felt loved in her class. Thanks, Mrs. Kay!
