Uncle Joe. I am so sorry to hear of your long illness and your passing. I know you struggled with your health all the years I've known you but you persevered. Life is not always kind. I have very fond memories of visiting you in the country and watching you try and set up some life skills for your children. You and Kevin raising pumpkins and taking them to sell every year always fascinated me that a dad would take the time to do that. While I know you are not suffering any longer, your dear family and friends miss you and grieve over your loss every day. Rest well my sweet Uncle Joe. Sandy.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of you. Joe was like part of our family while he worked at the Hitching Post. He attended all of our family functions and will be missed by all of us. He was a great guy.

Joe has been a special part of my life for over 20 years. I will always remember how he went out of his way for other people, including myself. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was an optimistic person who preferred to focus on the bright side of life. He overcame and endured many difficult challenges that many people did not know about. He was gentle, reserved, and quiet - and will always be missed.
