I was so sorry to read about Lewis's death. We went through school together and had such a fun time connecting at one of our class reunions. It sounds like he had a wonderful life with many caring family, friends, school and church members. My heart goes out to all of you.

Dear Lydia and family,
We knew and loved Lew from Cedarville days and then taught with him in Fruitport in the early 80's. He was passionate, dedicated and had a whacky sense of humour.
May our good God comfort.

Dear Lydia and family,
Although it has been a number of years since you and Lew and I last saw one another, I still feel a measure of your huge loss and the shock of Lew's sudden death. I have to look back at the deaths of each of my parents to recall the heavy weight of grief, and the mixture of numbness and pain. But the loss of Lew as your husband, Lydia, is harder yet, and the loneliness of his absence. You have family members to comfort one another and many friends, and the Lord's presence and promises that help but cannot remove. I'm praying you'll sense being borne up by His love.

I'm so sorry to learn of Lew's passing. He was a year behind me in high school & we were in Boy Scouts together. His greatest gift was his ability to make anyone laugh - even if it wasn't necessarily appropriate.
I wish we could have kept in touch over the years but life took us down separate paths.
Happy trails Lew!
