A beautiful lady from the first time I had her as my teacher,as a parent of a child in her class, thru all our times in the Congregational and Presbyterian church activity's and church bazaar's to just seeing her on the street. She never forgot who you were. I think she was an angel here on earth. I enjoyed her 90th birthday party and that was the last time I visited with her.

I knew Mrs. Mominee first as a great friend of my Grandma Wilcox. When I was little, I remember that she'd often find little gifts for me because children were always worth her time and efforts. Even though I wasn't a student of hers, it was teachers like herself that motivated me to make a difference in the life of a child, and become a teacher as well. As I've grown, and now have a family of my own, we've always exchanged at least Christmas cards.............hers always a hand-written response that was full of compliments, meaning, and thankfulness of being remembered. We'll all remember you Mrs. Mominee, for the amazing teacher, friend, and person that you modeled for us all! Thank you for leaving a mark on us all!
