Obituary of Gregory P. Cover

Gregory Peter Cover. June 16, 2012. Age 55, of Warren. Greg was born at Holy Cross Hospital in Detroit, Michigan on November 7, 1956 the son of Robert Eugene Cover and Catherine Leone Allen. He was a graduate of Warren High School and had attended the University of Michigan Dearborn Campus and Wayne State University in Detroit. He graduated from Macomb County Community College. He was a lifelong member of St. Anne's where he was baptized, received his first communion and was confirmed. He was a former employee of the City of Warren, the Cover Funeral Home in Dundee and was also a machinist by trade. He was a lifetime resident of Warren and had attended St. Anne's Elementary School graduating in the 8th grade. He is the brother of Thomas (Julie) Cover of Bloomfield Hills, Robert (Sherry) Cover of Dundee, Michigan and Karen Cover (Ted Cushard) of Clinton Township. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday 3-8 PM at Lyle Elliott Funeral Home, 31730 Mound Road north of 13 Mile in Warren. He will lie in state Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 9:30 AM until Mass at 10 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 32000 Mound Road in the Old Village of Warren. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Alberto Bondy, pastor of the church. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Arrangements by Cover Funeral Home, 297 Tecumseh Street in Dundee, MI.
