Please share a memory of Karyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Karyn Ann Hall was born in Trenton, Michigan on January 10, 1945 to Henry Hall and Emma (Forsang) Hall. However, at a young age Karyn's mother married Joseph Kadi. Joseph assumed the responsibility and raised Karyn as his own. Karyn found her soul mate in a young man named Theodore Charles Zajaczkowski. They were united in marriage on January 7, 1972 in Richmond Hill, New York. From this union they were blessed with the birth of a "miracle" son: Joe and a daughter-in-law: Catherine who currently reside in Newport. She also had two loving grandchildren: Daniel and Valerie Rexius. Ted made a career of more than twenty years in the United States Air Force. During this time the family made many sacrifices to follow Ted on his assignments. These sacrifices led to the opportunity of living on the West Coast, in the Midwest, the Deep South, and they even spent several years in Germany. Animals were a part of the Zajaczkowki family. Several cats and dogs could always be found in the home. While living in California they even took time to raise Saluki's, an Arabian dog breed. Along the way, Karyn earned an Associate of Science degree, and for many years worked as a Lab Technician and Phlebotomist. Chelsea Hospital was one of her favorite places to work. Following Ted's retirement in May of 1991 the family settled in Monroe. Karyn also loved to crochet. Spending time with her loved ones was especially important. She enjoyed mysteries and crime scene shows, and since, Karyn loved to watch them soon Ted became enthralled too. They were members of the Church of the Lord our Righteous. Karyn Ann Zajaczkowski, age 63, of Monroe, passed from this Life into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Her passing had been preceded by her parents.
