Mary (Snell) Penrose Addy, 87, of Dundee passed away in her home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Born February 24, 1926 in Summit Hill, Ohio, the daughter of George and Ethel (Minor) Snell. Mary graduated from London High School, then business training through the US Army Air Force and later medical secretary training. She had been employed at Wright Patterson AFB. After the death of Mary’s husband Pearl, she married her second husband Bruce and moved to Dundee. Survivors include her son John (Catherine Dailey) Penrose of Columbus; step sons Mark (Linda Haskins) Addy of Ann Arbor, MI and Michael (Susan Midkiff) Addy of Dundee, MI; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brother Harold Snell of London and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death byfirst husband Pearl M. Penrose, second husband Bruce M. Addy, brother John Snell and sister Neva Beatty. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday in the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 AM until time of services Saturday. Local arranegements were handled by the Cover Funeral Home of Dundee.
