Obituary of Alice Mae Courter

Alice Mae Courter, age 81 of Hale, Michigan formerly of Britton and Dundee died Friday June 15, 2012 at Care-Tel Rehabilitation Center in Brighton. She was born in Lenawee County, Michigan July 16, 1930 the daughter of Zearl and Carrie (Sipe) Horton. She retired from Hoover Ball Bearing Co in Ann Arbor and had also worked at Bixby Hospital In Adrian. She is survived by two daughters Charlene C. Roxanne Steiner of Indiana and Sonja Toole of South Lyon, ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sister Edna (Bud) Peacock of Blissfield and brothers Duane Horton of Tecumseh and Marvin (Bonnie) Horton of Britton. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday June 18, 2012 at the Macon Cemetery on Macon Mills Road north of Britton. Officiating will be Rev. Tom March, lead pastor of the Tecumseh Assembly of God.
