Lillian “Lillie” Ann Monroe, age 82 of Erie, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019 surrounded by her family in her home. She was born in Detroit on May 28, 1937. Lillian worked for many years as a veterinarian’s assistant and was a member of Monroe Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her loving husband of 62 years, Robert A. Monroe, and her son, Mark A. (Pam) Monroe. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert M. Monroe.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 3:00pm at LaSalle Township on Schwartz Road. Online guests may leave words of comfort and inspiration or share a photo by visiting www.merklefs.com.
