Tonya, Barb, Heather & Family,
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ll always remember Uncle Dick’s fabulous race cars. He had the BEST taste in cars. I will also never forget our dinners out to eat on the weekends & our Frankenmuth day trips. I’m thankful I was there to tag along. I find comfort that he’s with Aunt Eunie & Tyler. Praying God grants you strength during this time. Love you all.

One of my favorite things to do was sit down and hear Dick tell me stories of how he used to street race way back when. If ya knew him you’d figure he didn’t have an outlaw bone in his body but when it came to fast cars all that went out the window.
My favorite story was how when the Hemi first came out they were running everybody down. He had a old chevy and had just got beat by one. He said he got out of his car, took his fan belt off and ran the Hemi down.
Even at about 70 years old he could hit a green light like the tree at the drag strip.
He would tell stories of waking in the morning and spending the day to change out a cam so he could go race at night.
Like I said. If ya knew him at all he didn’t have a rebel bone in his body but horse power and burning rubber made him just like James Dean.
