My family was so sad to hear of Dave's passing and my heart is broken for the whole Butler family. No one was like your dad, Jason, and I loved him dearly. Having known you all for almost 40 years, I can recall thousands of memories - at sporting events, at your house on Lincoln (don't sit in his chair!) - at school, church, and basically everywhere he was someone I loved to see and talk to. The best thing about Dave was the amount of love he had for each of you and his ability to also make this non-family member feel like she was one of the family too. I miss him dearly and am praying for each of you, especially Holly who endured his torment and love all while wrangling that goofball who just said what he felt whenever he felt like it- xoxo. Jason and Butler Family,
I am so sorry for your loss!
Most of my memories of Mr. Butler are, of coarse, at high school basketball games. However, more importantly, he was always very kind and welcoming!
