Bosko Knezevich Jr., 64 of Monroe died Saturday, Feb 2, in the comfort of his home under the care of Mercy Memorial Hospice.
Born May 5, 1948 in Monroe he was the son of Bosko and Betty (Zeli) Knezevich.
Surviving are his former wife Margaret, of Monroe; children Steve Knezevich (Cheryl Marino) of Monroe, Kellie (Dave) LaBarr of Ypsilanti; grandchildren Zachary and Emma LaBarr; brothers Nick (Charlotte) Knezevich, Jim (Kathy) Knezevich, Danny Knezevich, all of Monroe and Mark (Jan) Knezevich of Tucson, AZ; sister Maryanne (Danny) Williams of Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sophia Geyman, and brother Milivoy Knezevich.
Bosko served in the U.S. Army from 1968 - 1970 in Korea and retired from Action Electric, Monroe.
He enjoyed watching football and spending time with his grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place through Southern Michigan Services in Livonia, Michigan. Friends may gather from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. Military honors will follow at 7:00pm under the auspices of Monroe Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1138. The Reverend Victor Holtz pastor of Monroe Vineyard Church will then lead a service of faith.
