Obituary of Justin U'Ran

Justin Joseph U'Ran passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 5, 2009. He was born March 25, 1986 in Columbia County, Florida. Justin was the second of three sons born from the union of Nicholas Joseph U'Ran and Arletta Kay U'Ran. He was a 2004 graduate of Monroe High School. Justin had attended and was baptized at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church, as a youth he had attended Grape Baptist Church Justin had an enormous heart. He had recently spent a couple years in North Carolina, and he worked in food service for local restaurants, as a cook and a waiter. One of these establishments was Nick's Place where he shared this joy in food with customers through the food preparation and friendly interaction. Since he was a child he had a special relationship with his Aunt Bobby, and uncle Rick Solea, after joining them in North Carolina Justin was quite the outdoorsman finding joy in boating, fishing, target shooting. His hobbies also extended to a need for speed, and an appreciation for motorcycles and snowmobiles. Justin was a big sports fan, football was his favorite. The Dallas Cowboys were his favorite team, and he treasured his Cowboys coat he got from his cousin Steve who passed in 2005. Justin's true passion was for his family and friends with whom he shared many great times and memories. Justin's loving family includes his mother; Kay U'Ran (Paul Revard); his father: Nicholas and Cheryl U'Ran of LaSalle; his two brothers: Jacob U'Ran and Joshua U'Ran (Karen Lochner); both grandparents: Robert and Donna Smith; Pat and Ed Henson; and his niece: Jaiden U'Ran who meant the world to him. Friends may gather from 1:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. Friends may also gather on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 11:00am until a Celebration of His Life at 12:00pm. The Rev. Nathan Clawson and the Rev. Roy Southerland will co-officiate. Following his service, Justin will be whisked to St. Joseph Cemetery, 909 North Monroe Street in a custom motorcycle hearse for his final rest.
