Every time I had the chance to hang out with Sam I knew it would be a great time, and almost always unpredictable. There was never any doubt how much he loved his family and friends. My deepest sympathies to the entire family.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends for the loss of this wonderful young man. I have not read such a heartfelt, wonderful life description of someone in a long time. I can tell from the loving description written about him that this young man was very, very special.
I am a friend of his God-Parents Gretchen and Jeff Kopmanis and learned of this tragic loss in their life.

I have been a friend of Sam's for nearly 20 years. Sam was like a brother to me. We spent a lot of time together working on a family member's demolition derby cars over the summer, cracking jokes, drinking pop (or a few beers when we were of age), and just having a good time being friends. I have a lot of great memories of Sam, and his crazy (in a good way) attitude. Sam could make anyone laugh! He was the kind of guy that spoke his mind and did not hold back. When Sam liked someone, he liked them. If Sam didn't like someone or something - OH PEOPLE KNEW! But, the thing about Sam that I will always remember is how Sam would give you the shirt off his back (with no questions asked) if needed. Sam treated everyone with respect who deserved it.
When I heard the news of his passing, I was absolutely shocked, stunned, and in disbelief. I heard the news while at work and shed a tear for Sam. I am going to miss this guy tremendously. My condolences go out to all of Sam's family and friends! Rest is peace 'SHADES'!!!
