Obituary of Lacoya Annmarie DeRoch
Lacoya Annmarie DeRoch was born on October 30, 1987 in Detroit, Michigan. She is the daughter of Patrick S and Lori Ann (Jones) DeRoch. Lacoya attended Monroe County Intermediate School District for many years.
Lacoya had a naturally gentle spirit and a kind heart. Her infectious smile could light up any room. Her love radiated to those around her and she always brought an abundance of love and joy to others.
Although Lacoya had many challenges in her life, she never let her impairments discourage her. She enjoyed listening to Christian music, singing and playing along with her nieces and nephews. Lacoya always had a sweet demeanor that will truly be missed.
Lacoya Annmarie DeRoch, age 29 of Maybee passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at her home. Her passing is preceded by her brother: Danzell DeRoch on August 1, 2011.
Lacoya’s memory will forever be cherished by her loving parents: Patrick and Lori DeRoch of Maybee; her siblings: Jeremy, Patrick, Monica, Jessica, Samantha, Stephen, Darrell and Christina; grandparents: Gere DeRoch and Grandma Cindy; and Auntie Lois Hunt of Detroit.
Friends may gather from 10:00am until 12:00pm on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Merkle Funeral Service, 2442 North Monroe Street (734) 384-5185. A Celebration of Her Life will follow at 12:00pm also at Merkle's with Pastor Roy Southerland of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church officiating. Procession will follow to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Cemetery in Brownstown Township where she and her brother Danzell will be laid to rest.
