Charlie was a kind soul always smiling and friendly to all. He introduced me to many new friends, and shared some fun times in his neighborhood. You cared for others and treated them with kindness. You filled the most important commandment. God's peace.

Charley was my best friend when we were young and we remained friends all our lives. The Beans and the Mackeys are like Brothers growing up next to each other our Moms treated all of us like their own. Charley and me had lots of adventures togeather as young men. We played together, Parked cars during football games, Built model cars and much much more.I thought of him often after I moved away and was so thankful he found Merlin to share his life with. Because a man is not much without a good woman to share his journey with. As for me I have only one regret and that is I did not get to say goodbye. The last time I was in Michigan I tryed several times to see him but somehow we kept missing each other. But I thought I would have another chance but that was not to be. Lets celebrate his life and try not to sorry in his death for he blessed us all. Goodbye my fried Your friend allways DOUGHBOY

I will always remember your cheerful voice, Charles and how wonderful you made me feel when I was around you. I thought and prayed for you often. You will always be in my heart as well as David, Jimmy and Bob. Rest in peace my lamb. The Bible tells us" to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." And I know that is where you are. The tears I shed are for me because I wish I could have seen you more often not for you because I know you are feasting in the wonderful Love of Jesus. I want to meet your wonderful wife and your three daughters. You will never know how many people you touched in your life. Your Aunt Faye
