Rena Stevens was born November 10, 1928. She married Guy N. Goff on December 14, 1946. He passed away on June 12, 1968. On September 1, 1971, Rena married the love of her life, Lynn C. Kidman, together they had a long and happy life until his passing on January 18, 2006. During their marriage they enjoyed traveling, camping, sitting at the water's edge, gardening and "mushrooming." Lynn was her best friend.
Family and friends remember with fondness, conversations over Rena's delicious home-baked bread and desserts and home-canned fruit and jellies. In her spare time, she hand crocheted blankets for loved ones. Rena had a great sense of humor and a memory for places and events that was phenomenal. She was devoted to everyone she knew blanketing them with prayers.
Rena is survived by her sisters: Muriel Stevens and Twila Shoemaker; her children: Gerald L. (Donna) Goff, Ila Mae (John) Heil and Twila J. Reiser; Lynn's children: Sharon Wing, Bob Kidman, Ron (Becky) Kidman, Randall (Tina) Kidman, and Russell (Cathy) Kidman; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dwelling Place Diner.
